Description
Start your tour with a pick up from your hotel or cruise ship in the morning and depart to Aswan. Explore the High Dam and learn about its impressive construction. The site was built in 1960 with the purpose of protecting and controlling the Nile River. Here, you will learn about the creation of Lake Nasser, one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the world. Next, visit the Unfinished Obelisk. The partially cut obelisk is believed to have been created by Queen Hatshepsut. Here you can see firsthand how the ancient Egyptians used tools and their craftsmanship to cut enormous stones into intricate structures. Take a closer look
