Itinerary (12 hours Days)

You will be met at your hotel by our Ask the Egyptian experienced tour leader, who will escort you to Cairo Airport for your exciting day trip to Luxor by air.

Upon arrival in Luxor, our professional guide will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. Your exploration begins with the West Bank of Luxor, one of the most important archaeological sites in Egypt and the world. This area is the gateway to the Valley of the Kings, where magnificent tombs are carved into the mountainside. The tomb walls are richly decorated with hieroglyphs and vibrant scenes from ancient Egyptian mythology, offering a glimpse into the beliefs and artistry of the Pharaohs. The Valley of the Kings is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, you’ll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as El-Deir El-Bahari (Arabic for “The Monastery of the Stone”). Built during the 18th Dynasty, it was dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut and the god Amun-Re. This remarkable temple was designed by her loyal architect Senmout and is celebrated for its unique, harmonious design.

Afterward, you’ll stop to admire the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood guard over the Nile’s west bank for more than 3,000 years.

Your journey then continues to the East Bank of the Nile, home to one of Egypt’s most extraordinary monuments — the Karnak Temple Complex. This vast site, the largest man-made religious complex in the world, is dedicated primarily to the Theban triad: Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. Over the centuries, successive rulers of Egypt added their own architectural contributions, leaving behind a breathtaking legacy of columns, chapels, and sanctuaries.
